November 16, 2009 - Cafeteria, 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.Small World Coffee Hour – Tired of studying? Need a break? Come join us at the Small World Coffee Hour. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to stop by and enjoy a cup of coffee, and a pleasant conversation! Geography Bowl - Students are invited to test their knowledge of world geography while celebrating International Education Week. Answer 75% of the questions correctly and win a prize.

November 16, 2009 – Hall of Governors, 1:30 – 3:00 p.m.Passport Day – This is the second year that the Office of International Services offers on-the spot processing of U.S. passports. The Passport Day makes it convenient for faculty, staff, and students to apply for new passports or renew the old ones.
Passports are good for 10 years and are required for all travel abroad. Get your passport NOW.

To get a passport you will need: Proof of US Citizenship: (certificate of citizenship or original birth certificate) Original and Photo Copy of ID front and back ( valid driver’s license, current military ID)
Check/Money Order ($75.00 application fee + $25 execution fee) Two (2) Passport Photos – color (photos can be taken ahead of time)

November 17, 2009 –Hall of Honors, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.“Doing Business in a Multi-Cultural Society”, sponsored by CenterPoint and the Office of International Services.

November 18, 2009 –Sherman Recital Hall, 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.First Steps for Undergraduates
Attend a Learning Abroad First Step Meeting focusing on programs and resources for GSU students. This session will give basic information about study, work, intern, and volunteer programs abroad , and explain the services and resources available to students.

November 19, 2009 –Sherman Recital Hall, 1:30 -2:30 p.m.Become a Host Family, Share your Home, and Change the World
Learn practical suggestions for hosting an international student.
